Production Operative Job Description Our client based in Hereford is looking for Food Production Operatives to join their team. No experience is necessary; full training is provided on commencement of the assignment. About the Role: In the Food Production section, you’ll be involved in the production and packaging of raw food products. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical. Our client’s site operates across two factories: Factory 1 is responsible for processing, whole bird production & portioning. Factory 2 is responsible for portioning & added value. Production Duties Include: Weighing, assembling, and packing products ready for dispatch. Labelling and grading of products. Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg. What You Need to Be Successful: Good level of English and basic numeracy skills. The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively. Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks. Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
