THE ROLE
We are currently supporting with the recruiting for a number of production operatives to join our client located in the Wrexham area to help support with their growing business. You will be packing products off a number of high-speed machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment as well as ensuring regular visual quality checks are undertaken.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Slicing and sorting products
Checking of product prior to packaging
Palletising and packing
Keeping the Shift Supervisor informed of any problems encountered with Production processes and/or equipment
Packing product in line with Company standards including BRC Global Standards for packaging
Ensuring all product is labeled correctly
Requirements from candidate:
Eye for detail
Comfortable working within a food-based environment
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is preferable, ideally within a fast-paced environment in a packing capacity
Strong communication skills
Dependable with a reliable mode of transport to commute to work
Able to operate in a sometimes-pressurised environment working to deadlines
Teamwork
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this role will involve working a 6am till 2pm or 2pm till 10pm Monday to Friday.
Hourly Rate of up to £11.50 per hour.
