Food Regulatory Advisor

Homebased

£35,000 - £45,000

This will be the first dedicated Food Regulatory Advisor role within the business, a great one for you to help build.

This is a superb opportunity to help a business that has formulated a long-term road map for technical excellence and as part of that has a newly created Regulatory Advisor role.

You will be predominantly working from home with occasional meetings with the broader technical team. However, with multiple sites throughout England, if you wanted to spend more time on site this is welcomed too – the company is very much about outputs, not where you are.

You will be responsible for providing labelling, nutrition, consumer information, and regulatory advice for this multi-customer, multi-product food manufacturing business. You will complete detailed impact assessments of new regulation when necessary, informing the business of regulatory change and representing the business externally as required.

You will lead/support on delivery of business projects from concept to launch, where required, which may include regulatory risk tracking, claims and artwork, identifying areas of contention, and working cross-functionally to resolve issues.

You will communicate and train new legislative and company policy requirements in respect of labelling and nutrition to the R&D and Specifications team and supporting the ongoing development of the Quality Management Systems.

You will ideally have a regulatory background from the food industry with the following key skills.

Skills they are looking for:

  • Proven experience / knowledge of food law acquired in a commercial, enforcement or policy setting
  • Well-developed communication skills – upwards, downwards, and outwards
  • Able to review and interpret regulations and standards

Please apply to this Food Regulatory Advisor / Specialist role today or contact Dominic for more information.
