Fleet/Commercial Sales Consultant

at our Chevrolet and Ford dealership, where you’ll play a critical role in connecting businesses, organizations, and municipalities with the vehicles they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Sales Generation:

Actively pursue and close fleet and commercial vehicle sales with local businesses, governmental agencies, non-profits, and more. Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the dealership’s overall success.

Client Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with:

Local business owners in industries such as construction, logistics, and landscaping. Municipalities, school districts, and public service organizations. Unions, trade organizations, and their members. Credit unions, insurance agencies, and financial institutions.

Conduct needs assessments and recommend the best vehicle solutions tailored to each client’s requirements.

Product Expertise:

Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Chevrolet and Ford fleet/commercial vehicle offerings, including trucks, vans, and specialty vehicles. Stay updated on incentives, financing options, and tax benefits for commercial vehicle purchases.

Marketing and Networking:

Identify new opportunities through networking, referrals, and community involvement. Participate in events such as trade shows, chamber of commerce meetings, and dealership-hosted open houses.

Customer Service:

Provide outstanding service throughout the sales process and beyond. Offer follow-up support to ensure client satisfaction and build long-term relationships.

Qualifications: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or fleet/commercial vehicle industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients. Highly organized and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset. Basic understanding of fleet leasing and financing options (training will be provided). Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate all vehicle types. What We Offer: Competitive base salary plus commission and performance bonuses that will allow you to make up to $250,000 a year. The position pays an hourly rate plus commission.
