A full-time career within the automotive industry with many opportunities to progress to positions of responsibility, including service manager, master technician, and dealership principles. Endless opportunities for growth and development. Apprentices can develop their career within specific interests, progressing through their dealership and becoming an asset to Ford Motor Company. An exciting opportunity for apprentices to be trained using the latest diagnostic equipment, providing them with the relevant skills to react to the ever-changing technological developments within the car industry. Day-to-day tasks will vary but typically include: Servicing - working to manufacturer servicing guidelines to ensure vehicles run at optimum performance. MOTs. Vehicle maintenance - replacing parts that have wear and tear before they fail. Observing and assisting technicians. Repair - diagnosing the reason for vehicle failure and fixing the problem. Achieving a Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3 qualification. Holding a certificate that meets the EU's 2014 F-gas regulation before the Standard is met. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm (Shifts to be confirmed with the employer).
