Forecasting and Reporting Team Manager Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Forecasting and Reporting Team Manager to join our client based in Putney. The Forecasting & Reporting Team Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction to the Strategic Insights Director, EXCOM, Marketing, Finance, and Taxation teams as well as HQ. This is achieved by developing forecasts, scenarios, analysis, market sizes, and producing actionable insights from consumer sales data, evaluation data, and other market or competitor information. You will be responsible for fully supporting the Strategic Insights Director during the planning process development. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Forecasting and Reporting team. The successful Forecasting and Reporting Team Manager will be responsible for: You will deliver strategic direction to the Sales and Marketing functions and Senior Management through market analysis, forecasts and scenarios with detailed analysis of market, category, trade sector, brand and competitor performances, identifying future trends and opportunities for brands through the development of historic data and trend analysis. You will deliver analysis of in market activities and strategic plans, across multiple channels and accounts, presenting back to the Marketing team with insights and recommendations to feed into ongoing marketing activities and positions, as well as the development of strategic plans for brands. Using a variety of data sources, you will develop "what-if" scenario planning to support the SI Director and the wider Marketing Team in decision-making and strategic planning. You will manage the relationships with suppliers of market measurement data and related research, to ensure the quality and scope of service meet company requirements. Work with GIP and Legal to negotiate agreements which are cost effective and protect company interests. Manage the budget within Strategic Insights for market measurement data and related research, ensure delivery of budget commitments within this area and compliance with company policies. Investigate alternate suppliers to ensure the robustness of the market model. You will work with the Research and Insights Team manager to develop and deliver key performance reports and trackers to provide Senior Management team with appropriate KPI metrics, to aid informed decision making on Category and Brands. You will support the Strategic Insights Director and work in an agile manner to perform duties such as reporting, creation of Power BI dashboards, and ad hoc projects at the request of your manager. The successful Forecasting and Reporting Team Manager will have: University degree preferred, MBA is advantageous At least 5 years of commercial analytical and/or statistical experience in a similar role within FMCG with solid experience within Marketing and/or Sales Previous experience of people management Strong analytical skills are essential, as well as experience in Marketing or Sales Communication Skills, Customer Service, Analysis & Problem Solving, Pricing Scenarios & Analysis, Trade Research, Business Insight Excellent knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Experience of forecast modelling software advantageous Fluent in spoken and written English If this Forecasting and Reporting Team Manager role is of interest to you, please click apply or contact Charlotte Harding in our Egham office.
