Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Forklift Service Engineer to join our progressive team in the Leeds area. With a commitment to excellence and a strong reputation in the industry, we are looking for a talented individual to contribute to their success in delivering top-notch forklift services. As a Field Forklift Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of forklifts. Key responsibilities include: Conducting diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in forklifts at client locations. Performing routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure forklifts are operating at peak efficiency. Executing repairs and replacements of faulty components and parts on-site. Collaborating closely with clients to understand and address specific forklift service requirements. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date service records. Offering technical assistance and guidance to clients on forklift operation and maintenance best practices. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: Proven experience working within the Automotive or Forklift industry in a similar role. Demonstrate good product knowledge gained from having experience of working on all aspects of forklift trucks, IC Engines, brake systems, hydraulics and electrics. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a field service capacity.
