We are currently seeking a Forklift Truck Mechanic/Technician to join a globally recognised automotive client based in Sunderland. This is an ongoing contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting planned maintenance on forklifts (FLT) Performing priority repairs on any breakdowns Following technical diagrams and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications & Experience:
Ideally possess a City & Guilds (C&G) / BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering with a recognised apprenticeship. Previous experience in automotive or mobile plant equipment maintenance is preferred. Experience with gas and electric FLTs is an advantage. Fleet maintenance experience of forklifts, preferably LPG, as well as backgrounds in HGV, LGV, or car mechanics, will also be considered.

Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 39 hours per week Rate: £19.48 per hour
