Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Formulation Chemist to join us to support our formulation plant! This career-building role includes elements of preparing samples for product registrations, troubleshooting quality issues with the manufacture of established products and contributing to Continuous Improvement projects. You'll provide expert advice, fine-tune processes, and support new product introductions by developing networks and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
Manufacture lab-scale formulations and risk assessments (COSHH)
Conduct physicochemical testing
Document lab procedures, results, and scale-up data; share regular updates with stakeholders on progress and issues
Support technical introductions on manufacturing lines providing HSE and Technical insights
Troubleshoot and optimize production processes
Qualifications
Chemistry degree or equivalent
Experience in chemistry within a chemical manufacturing environment
Lab risk assessment experience (COSHH)
Formulation experience preferred
Scale-up or plant production experience a plus
Strong HSE mindset and formulation science knowledge
Excellent lab skills and stakeholder communication
