35,000 - 38,000 per year Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foul Pump/Drainage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing foul water pump systems and drainage infrastructure across London and within the M25 region. You will provide exceptional service to our clients while adhering to health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repair work on foul pumps and drainage systems. Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide effective solutions promptly. Install and commission foul water pump systems and associated equipment. Conduct diagnostics and fault-finding on electrical and mechanical components. Liaise with clients, providing professional advice and recommendations. Complete service reports and ensure accurate record-keeping of all work. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all jobs. Manage tools, equipment, and company vehicle efficiently. Requirements: Proven experience as a Foul Pump/Drainage Engineer or in a similar role. Must have a valid confined space certificate. Strong understanding of foul water pumping systems and drainage infrastructure. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to diagnose and repair faults effectively. Full UK driving license. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Desirable Qualifications: Relevant engineering or technical certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering). CSCS Card.
