Foundation Studies Lecturer
to join their team on a
full-time, permanent basis .
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established and supportive department that is committed to the progression and development of learners who may have learning difficulties, disabilities, or require help with their behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver lessons across a range of courses within
Foundation Studies , with a focus on
Access to FE programmes . Support learners in developing their
independence skills
and preparing for
employment or further education . Play an active role in the
development and enhancement of the curriculum . What We're Looking For:
A
degree in a relevant subject area
or a
Level 3 qualification
with substantial teaching experience in Foundation Studies. Experience teaching within the
Foundation Learning area , including
Functional Skills . Up-to-date knowledge of
best practices
in supporting learners with additional needs. A
Level 5 teaching qualification
(or a willingness to obtain one with support from the College). Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary between
£32,455 and £45,260 per annum , including London Weighting. Excellent support and opportunities for
