Job Description Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities The FP&A Manager, EMEA & APAC provides planning, analysis and decision support and works closely with the regional leadership team in formulating the financial aspects of management reporting, annual planning, forecasting, and strategic and tactical business decisions. The position will report to the Global FP&A Director and serve the EMEA and APAC regions, working closely with the Regional Finance Directors and the VP/General Manager of the regions. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration Experience 5+ years finance experience Preferred Qualifications Education or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field MBA, CPA or other post-graduate degree/certification preferred Interpersonal Skills Effective oral and written communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills. Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data Ability to write in a clear and concise manner Ability to effectively communicate and work with individuals in different locations at all levels of the organization. Highly motivated, self starter, and disciplined in approach Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Technical Skills Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles Experience using Hyperion Planning and Financial Management (HFM) software a plus Strength in overall data structure concepts a plus. A willingness to learn and adopt new technological processes a must. Demonstrated experience using Excel to build and maintain complex financial models and perform financial and data analysis. Additional Information ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, implement and manage the FP&A process framework for the region, which is to include processes for management reporting, forecasting, annual plan, intra-period pulsing and long range plan. Collaborate with counterparts in other regions and with division FP&A to set overall FP&A strategy and direction to best support the business. Implement and maintain a model for continuous improvement within the region and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives cross-regionally and at the division level. In addition to standard processes, provide timely decision support with ad-hoc reporting as defined by various business situations. Prepare presentation materials for management reporting, forecasting and/or annual operating plan and aid in preparing the narrative for presentations delivered by the VP/General Manager of the region, the Regional Finance Director, or oneself. Liaise with business line leaders and aid in deal and decision support. Liaise with operating departments and aid department heads in managing costs. Answer division-level queries of the region in a timely and accurate manner. Provide support to the accounting or transactional functions as needed.
