FP&A Analyst

to join our Finance Team, based at our Fender EMEA head office in East Grinstead! Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this role will provide business partnering to key stakeholders in the business, and provide good quality financial information and analysis in all areas of sales and margins for Fender Europe. Main Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management reports for use at meetings with European and US executive management

Reviewing P&L performance against budget, prior year, and previous forecasts Detailed margin variance analysis, including price and cost variances Sales and order analytics, including NPI

Price and promotional analytics, to drive and support inventory reductions Business partnering with key stakeholders to aid in decision-making on discretionary spend Produce reports, variance analysis, and analytics on various areas of Gross Margin and A&P Active involvement in the forecast and budgeting processes for Sales, Gross Margin line items, and A&P Identify process improvements and implement once approved Ad hoc projects and tasks Essential Skills/Experience Part Qualified Accountant Two or more years of experience, ideally in a product-based company Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to analyze figures and present the information in a readable and understandable format for non-finance staff Advanced Excel skills to manipulate large volumes of data Deadline driven with the ability to remain calm under pressure Good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with different cultures and styles Experience of working in a multi-currency environment Proactive and inquisitive Multi-tasking, flexible, and adaptable Desirable Skills/Experience Budgeting and forecasting experience Experience of Hyperion, Tableau, BW, and SAP Consumer Goods or Manufacturing Background preferred
