My client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive FP&A Analyst to join their growing Finance team. The role is ideal for someone who has expertise in Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Partnering, and strong systems and data experience. The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in reporting, forecasting, and providing actionable insights while building strong relationships across the business to drive success. Client Details My client is a growing, private equity-backed business in the services sector. Since receiving investment in the last 2 years, they have made an acquisition, with more scheduled further down the line. They have a high-caliber Finance team including a fantastic CFO and Financial Controller who will be great mentors for whoever joins! Description Build, maintain, and enhance reports using Power BI, delivering clear commentary and analysis on business performance. Lead the development and implementation of automated reports and BI solutions for the finance team and broader organisation. Forecast 6-month cash flow to support liquidity and investment decisions. Maintain and enhance the month-end reporting pack, integrating new business acquisitions as needed. Oversee the budget and forecasting processes, conducting initial reviews and identifying unexpected variances. Drive one-off projects, including integration of business acquisitions. Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to provide insights and recommendations that enhance decision-making and performance. Analyse revenue drivers (price, volume, mix), expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets, identifying opportunities for optimisation. Profile Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience. Expertise in Power BI and advanced Excel skills. Proven experience in FP&A and/or commercial analysis. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and consolidate large datasets into actionable insights. Business partnering experience with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Self-starter with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. Experience in driving continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.
