Our client, based in Woking, Surrey, is seeking to hire a Commercial FP&A Controller to cover maternity leave for a 12-month period, starting in January.
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis, delivering critical financial insights and business intelligence. Your responsibilities will include producing the monthly board report with detailed and insightful analysis across all business lines. You will develop an accurate forecasting model, prepare the 2026 budgets, and manage the 2025 quarterly reforecasting process, providing comprehensive commentary. Additionally, you will collaborate with the business to analyze margins and promotional performance, as well as monitor individual product line performance to drive profitability.
This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in blue-chip, medium-sized, and smaller businesses who understands what “good” looks like in financial operations.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong track record in FP&A within a consumer-facing business. You must be available to start in January and committed to a 12-month contract. The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with your skills and experience, ranging from £100,000 to £130,000, plus benefits.
You should be comfortable working from the Woking (Surrey) office three days a week, managing staff remotely, and engaging with international stakeholders. Experience working in a small, growing start-up environment—within the context of a larger, PE-backed parent company—is also desirable.
