Based in Braintree, this client is looking for a dynamic and driven individual for a newly created role.As FP&A Accountant you will define the purpose of data, how to capture, manipulate, interpret and apply it. You need to be able to demonstrate the ability to describe, predict and improve business performance.Core role:

  • Management of forecasting, planning and cash flow reporting.
  • Working with Management Accountants to review monthly performance against plans and forecasts to determine actions to be taken.
  • Developing a deep understanding of our current ERP system to enhance financial reporting and automate current processes.
  • Provision of business-critical analytical information and data for Senior Management and Board of Directors.
  • Developing and maintaining a suite of financial and commercial key performance indicators.
  • Complete collation, analysis and presentation of data using tools such as PowerBI, Excel and SQL.
  • Designing and developing dashboard style reporting to deliver financial performance and a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Building innovative and effective approaches to solving current analytical reporting shortfalls within the business.
  • Working closely with Head of Departments from across the business to provide key financial and analytical guidance.
  • Support the preparation of sensitivity analysis for commercial and financial proposals.
  • Scenario modelling and ROI calculations.
  • Continuously improve business reporting and ease of access to financial and operational information.
  • Evaluating existing approaches, identifying areas for improvement, and simplifying processes.

You will be a Qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience in current role of Finance and Data Analysis. Advanced Excel skills, and a passion for manipulating data for all manner of reporting and analysis are essential.This role is based in Braintree, it can pay £65-70K, there is 1-day WFH available post probation period..
