As Franchise Financial Controller, you’ll ensure the integrity of monthly, quarterly and annual financial information, including balance sheet, profit and loss account, internal and external reporting and other supporting data. You’ll be helping to shape the strategy and operating model for financial control, with the overriding objective of establishing and maintaining trust and confidence of customers and stakeholders. Through the course of your work, you’ll: Consider and escalate the adequacy and effectiveness of the business’s controls Provide sound analytical reviews, challenges and analysis to customers Negotiate the delivery of day-to-day and ad hoc outputs, and deal with non-delivery issues as and when they arise Act as the key customer relationship manager between the business area and the wider Financial Reporting & Control teams Initiate continuous improvement projects to automate and streamline financial control activities The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring extensive post-qualification experience in a finance environment, preferably the financial services industry. You’ll have experience of working at a senior management level, with multiple reporting lines across a global matrix environment. We’ll also look to you to bring: Experience of providing senior management with detailed financial information The ability to identify, build and enhance key relationships and challenge as needed Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management The ability to deliver high quality outputs to tight deadlines
