London Richard Miers Garden Design Ltd is looking for a London based, qualified, freelance Landscape Architect to join its thriving and exciting practice. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant, busy and supportive team and work on a variety of exciting projects both in and out of London. Role and Responsibilities: Project and client management Leading design projects from survey through to construction. Attending site meetings and following up in accordance Producing 2D plans and 3D visuals using Sketchup / CAD or equivalent Writing comprehensive schedules of works and specifications Skills required: Qualification in Landscape Architecture or equivalent professional experience working in a landscape design studio Excellent knowledge of plants and landscaping materials Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Sketchup and Microsoft Office, CAD or equivalent Ability to produce detailed designs and all associated drawings including sections and elevations. Committed, organised and willing to work across a range of projects simultaneously. Highly commercial A self-starter with an ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work to multiple deadlines Full, clean UK driving licence is required but not essential. This position starts at 3 days per week with the potential to become a full-time salaried position for the right candidate.
