Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor Role - Long Term Contract - £50 Million + Highways Scheme
Your new company
You will be working for a highly recognised and award-winning Highways Tier One Contractor who works with major clients such as National Highways and local authority frameworks. This contractor has recently acquired a £50 million highway scheme within the Somerset area. Therefore, they are looking to build a commercial team in the area which involves hiring Senior Quantity Surveyors.
Your new role
You will be working on a high value infrastructure scheme and your job duties will include, but not be limited to, producing subcontractor paperwork, which includes negotiating the terms and conditions, costs and schedule, handling change promptly and in line with the contract, which includes creating and submitting compensation events and creating, submitting and approving monthly applications.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have experience working on large-value highway construction schemes as a Senior Quantity Surveyor where you have managed subcontractor packages up to £15 million in value. In addition to this, you will have worked on and have knowledge about NEC 3 or 4 form of contracts. Being degree qualified is preferred, but isn't essential.
