ROLE : Construction Freelance Site Manager
LOCATION : Maidstone, Kent ME5
START : Mid-January Start
DURATION : 4 Months+
RATE : 250 - 280
This job for a freelance Site Manager takes responsibility for a fit out and refurbishment project local to Maidstone. You will report to the Contracts Manager. You will need to be driven and capable of running and delivering the project on time as a stand-alone Site Manager, managing all site activity, maintaining high levels of health and safety, and delivering a high quality of workmanship in line with the company standards and client's expectations.
Key skills and experience required:
CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid at Work. Day to day supervision and co-ordination of on-site staff, subcontractors, plant and materials. Building and maintaining good relationships across all subcontractors and direct employees. Maintain strict quality control procedures and conduct regular site safety checks. Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for producing a high-quality finish. Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong communication and liaison skills.
