Freelance Structural Engineer (Part Time)
Location: Chelmsford
Hourly Rate: £40.00-£42.00 per hour
About the Role: Small up-and-coming engineering practice in Chelmsford is achieving great results and needs to bring in a structural engineer on a part-time basis to help cover their growing workload. They will consider 10 hours per week or more.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Director on domestic projects. Run calculations and produce CAD drawings. Manage project workload from private developers, contractors, architects, and private clients.
Projects Include: Designs and supervision of schemes within the residential, commercial, education, retail, and industrial sectors, including anything from private homes to high-rise structures, housing developments, and town centre regeneration.
Requirements: If you have the time to spare and the technical capability, please get in touch as our client will want to meet you. Initially, they only need someone to work 5 hours a week, but this could increase as their workload increases.
