As part of our growing team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth operation of our freezing and storage processes. Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Freezer Manager to oversee the effective management of our freezer operations. This includes ensuring the proper storage, inventory control, and handling of frozen products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of freezer management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the freezer department, ensuring that products are stored and maintained according to health and safety standards. Manage inventory levels, including stock rotation (FIFO), and conduct regular stock audits. Ensure that all frozen products are stored and handled correctly to maintain quality and compliance with food safety regulations. Train, manage, and supervise a team, providing support and guidance as needed. Monitor freezer temperature levels and perform routine checks to ensure they are within safe operating limits. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the storage and retrieval of stock in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries, and any discrepancies or issues that arise. Implement and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the freezer area at all times. Requirements: Previous experience in freezer management, warehouse management, or a similar role within the food industry. Strong understanding of food safety regulations, especially regarding frozen goods. Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy products. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different teams. A proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
