What My Client is Looking For from a Freight Agent: Are you ticking these boxes? A little black book of local and UK contacts Big ideas to help improve processes, efficiency, and the company itself. The willingness to get your hands dirty (metaphorically or literally). A self-starter who can work independently but knows when to collaborate. Confidence to take initiative and speak up. Strong computer skills (bonus points if you've used Logitude). An understanding of international freight and logistics or the drive to learn quickly. Your Responsibilities: Master Coordinator:

Oversee shipments by air, sea, road, and courier with precision and care. Supplier Liaison:

Build and maintain great relationships with shipping lanes, airlines, trucking firms, and other freight suppliers. Document Wizard:

Produce and manage shipping documents and labels like a pro. Warehouse Helper:

Pitch in with general warehousing duties when needed because teamwork is key. Freight Detective:

Keep clients updated with shipment progress and resolve issues as they arise. Who My Client is Looking For: This role is perfect for someone with around a year of freight-forwarding experience, ready to grow and expand their skills.
