Freight Forwarder
- Fine Art Division Location: City of London, UK Salary: Up to 28,000 (DOE) Working Hours: Monday - Friday
- Full Time Are you someone with a background in Freight Forwarding and Logistics and looking for a new opportunity to grow and develop your skills in the Fine Art Market, being at the forefront of the global movement of Fine Art and Luxury Goods? Then this role could be for you! My client is looking for someone with previous experience in either Freight Forwarding or Fine Art who would be willing to take on a new challenge and develop their skills to become a fully-fledged Multi-Modal Freight Forwarder. Learn and develop your skills in Road, Air and Sea Freight Forwarding operations, start-to-finish. Raising Job files and all of the appropriate operations paperwork. Supplier and client liaison and negotiation. Speaking daily with Museums, Galleries, Auction Houses and Private Collectors. Arranging Collections and Deliveries of Fragile and Luxury Goods. Internal liaison with the sales team assisting with quotations and service information. Managing the jobs from quotation stage to final invoicing in line with the client expectations and communicating effectively any service issues. Proactively contacting existing clients to maximize business potential. Requirements:
Previous experience working for a UK based Logistics Company. Experience with Air Freight, Sea Freight or Road Freight Operations desirable. Previous experience within the Fine Art Industry desirable.
