Freight Forwarder Required
to join a UK leading delivery company at their site based in Rainham. The company are specialists in storing, shipping and installing various products across both the UK and internationally.
The successful candidate will be focused primarily on ocean/sea freight handling import and export operations. There will be a clear career development structure in place to allow progression up to GM level.
Freight Forwarder - Salary & Benefits Competitive salary up to 34K Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (1hr lunch) 20 days holiday + Banks Birthday off Bonus scheme if you can bring across customers Christmas bonus Private healthcare Death in service Company pension Various staff incentives throughout the year Company events Freight Forwarder - Responsibilities Complete start to finish ocean import/export operations for key customer accounts. Ensure all shipments imports/exports are processed within a timely manner. Prompt processing of customer invoicing and passing of supplier costs to meet KPI's. Liaise with shipping lines, carriers, merchant haulage and oversea agents. Obtain quotes/rates for the best possible price.
