Handling of enquiries, discussing requirements & working on Air, Road & Sea freight quotes. Liaising with Air, Sea and Road carriers regarding routes, schedules, and rates. Booking cargo space with air, sea, and road carriers/couriers. Preparing all shipping documentation to meet carriage requirements, legislation and ISO requirements using Boxtop software. Building freight jobs in Boxtop. Screening of Freight material (once trained - provided by the company). Daily communication with customers, suppliers, third parties, subcontractors, network offices and crew regarding the details of the movements. Keeping file administration up to date including processing of sales & suppliers invoicing, credit notes etc. Preparing docs and processing Dangerous Goods shipments following IATA DG rules and regulations (DG training to be provided if required). Multi-role office and warehouse based. Qualifications:
Experience within a cargo department. High level of attention to detail. Knowledge of CDS/CHIEF, CCS UK, airline sheds. Knowledge of ETSF warehouse and ETSF import clearances desired; however, training can be provided. A professional individual with strong communication, presentation and numerical skills. An individual with a genuine desire to grow their skillset with a can-do approach to all tasks set.
