from January 2025. This long-term role offers the opportunity to teach and lead French across all key stages, inspiring a love for the language while shaping the department's vision and success. Responsibilities of the French Teacher / Head of French: Deliver high-quality French lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Lead and manage the French department, driving curriculum development and excellence. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their best. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support. Collaborate with staff to enhance language teaching practices and promote cross-curricular links. Organise extracurricular activities to enrich students' linguistic and cultural experiences. Requirements of the French Teacher / Head of French: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in French. Proven experience teaching French across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Leadership experience or a strong desire to take on a Head of Department role. Passion for language teaching and the ability to inspire both students and staff. Excellent communication, organisational, and team management skills. Have an
