The HICA Group has a new opening for a Front of House Manager at our specialist dementia care home in Hessle – The Hollies! The role is for someone with a huge flair for customer service, a champion for high presentation and someone who can influence change. We are offering this role on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK. Pay & Hours: £28,407.51 per annum 40 hours per week Day shift (8 hrs) Working on a rota covering 7 days per week (including every other weekend) The Role: Working 40 hours a week with rotational weekends, you will be responsible for the front of house and mealtime experience while managing key support teams within the service. Key responsibilities include: Delivering the Reception and Administration service while acting as a liaison/ambassador to ensure seamless communication between all residents, family members, visitors, and the management team. Administering financial records, including the collection of monies and maintenance of systems. Working collaboratively with onsite teams to market our facilities and proactively follow up on potential new clients. Facilitating tours, being responsive to inquiries, and building positive relationships. Managing housekeeping and maintenance teams and undertaking audits within the home to drive improvements and challenge presentation standards. Overseeing mealtimes and supporting the manager in enhancing the mealtime experience and offering flexible menu options to suit a range of dietary requirements. Supporting the registered manager with administrative tasks, including minute taking, system maintenance, contacting staff, and diary management. Managing client records and other files. You should be working towards or hold a relevant qualification in business admin or IT. Cash handling, including bank transactions Dealing with members of the public to deliver good customer service Supervising/overseeing a small staff team Good written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of audits, recording and delivering feedback Proficient with computers and IT technology, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel Whether you are new to the sector or already have an established career in our industry, if you have a kind nature and are motivated by putting smiles on faces, then we would love to hear from you!
