A leading accountancy firm is seeking a Director to join its expanding Financial Services Audit team. Based in the London team, you will be the first FS hire for this region, and a large amount of the role will involve Business Development and building the client base.
The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of Wealth & Asset Management clients. The role also includes a key leadership responsibility, helping guide the development of the team and capitalising on new business opportunities for growth.

Collaborate with leadership to build the FS audit team's portfolio of clients. Contribute to the strategic direction of the team and support leadership in executing growth plans. Manage and support a team of audit professionals, ensuring their development and progress. Plan and manage the efficient delegation, flow-through, and completion of audit work for clients. Take responsibility for audits and sign audit reports. Maintain team standards and procedures. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and contacts. Ensure audit work is carried out efficiently and in compliance with the firm's audit policy and procedures. What you'll need to succeed: ACA/ACCA Qualified with post-qualification experience. Currently an RI or an experienced Senior Manager looking to become an RI (must be able to start the process immediately without the need to complete conversion exams). Extensive audit experience within the wealth and asset management sector, focusing on investment trusts, venture capital trusts, open-ended funds, private equity funds, and asset managers. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team. An ambitious and strategic mindset focused on client interactions and growing the financial services business. Business development experience with excellent presentation skills.
