People Support AdviserAn exciting opportunity has become available in our People Team for a People Support Adviser on Fixed Term Contract until December 2024. There is a possibility of this being extended beyond this.In this role you will provide first-line advice, guidance, coaching and support in relation to Employee and Line Manager enquiries, across aspects of People Services as well as relationship manage and coordinate support for multi-stranded enquiries. This is a hybrid role and could be based in Manchester, Birmingham or Leeds, with occasional travel required as necessary. Requirements:Experience of working in a HR/People function, in an advisory/administrative role with an understanding of the application of up-to-date HR policies and processesExperience in dealing with a wide range of employee relations matters with a confident approach to supporting and advising managers throughout such processesThe ability to organise and prioritise your own workload, to meet deadlines in a flexible, fast-paced environmentStrong execution skills and excellent attention to detailThe ability to build relationships both in person and remotely, gaining the trust of your colleagues in order to support each business areaAn analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends within a data setConfident in your HR expertise and employment law knowledge, with sound HR generalist experience, especially in employee relationsProven ability to provide guidance and support to leaders and managers at all levels, on all aspects of HR including policies and procedures, performance development, capability, disciplinary and grievancesStrong written and verbal communication skillsA CIPD qualification or equivalent proven experience Who you will be working with:An extremely dedicated and efficient People Team of 12, covering People Services, L&D and Talent Acquisition You will report into the People Support LeadWhat's great about Hydrock now Stantec are a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy of over 900 staff in 21 offices across the UK.
