Sample Lab Assistant

to provide maternity cover within their Sample Lab team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment, with flexibility to suit your schedule. About the Role As a

Sample Lab Assistant , you will support the day-to-day operations of the Sample Lab. Full training will be provided, and no prior experience is required. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing a range of customer samples to meet specific customer demands. Booking out and organising customer samples for dispatch via DX and FedEx to UK and global destinations. Coordinating the dispatch of commercial goods and documents to global destinations using FedEx. Receiving, booking in, and collating supplier samples. Assisting with the preparation of internal and development/matching samples as requested by sales or stock control teams. Maintaining general housekeeping standards. Liaising with: Quality Control

to ensure sample retains and supplier samples are tested as required. Regulatory

to ensure all customer samples have the correct paperwork. Goods In

to ensure the appropriate stock is available for formulations. About You To succeed in this role, you will need: Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. GCSE English and Maths preferred A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork. A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes. Basic IT skills to manage bookings and record-keeping. The ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, enthusiastic, and eager to develop new skills in a hands-on laboratory setting.
