ExxonMobil has operated in the U.K. for more than 135 years. We are best known today for the marketing of our Esso fuels and Mobil 1 lubricants and for our petrochemicals. We have refining and chemical operations in the UK, we operate the UK's biggest private pipeline network and we retain a non-operated share in a number of fields in the North Sea. More recently, we are developing our involvement in lower emission projects in the UK, building on our experience in carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydrogen production and biofuels.

What role you will play in our team

If successful you will be an integral part of our Global Trading team, supporting our commodity traders by developing optimized strategy and execution plans to maximize value added by ExxonMobil's trading assets (blend hubs, production sources, flexible contracts, storage, pipelines, receiving terminals etc.)

We are recruiting for blenders across our Fuel Oil and Gasoline trading teams.

What you will do

Overall management of blending activities within and around ExxonMobil assets and collaborating with the Trading team to develop and monetize blending strategies across ExxonMobil assets (e.g., products blending, supply contracts, storage, pipelines etc.)

The key deliverables include:

Develops and communicates blending execution plans to monetize opportunities in the Gasoline or Fuel Oil market Negotiates and executes purchase and sales of products, fuels components and services Manages inventory at ExxonMobil trading assets Manages finished blend inventory to support trading strategies and Trader requirements Develops and maintains relationships with market participants and counterparties Develops and maintains relationships with operations teams across ExxonMobil Ensures alignment with functions, and compliance with all relevant management systems and guidelines Identifies and executes local optimization opportunities to ensure supply/demand are in balance at ExxonMobil blend hubs Manages transactions and contracts, as needed, through the relevant supply cycle and documents them in relevant system Participates in commercial trading strategy development - particularly with respect to trading assets Participates in, or supports, value chain optimization teams/activities, as applicable Evaluate, recommend and/or execute hedging strategies for commercial activities in close cooperation with your lead trader and Risk Control Qualifies and quantifies risks related to own commercial activities and collaborates with the trading team to ensure appropriate risk mitigation strategies are implemented as needed, with guidance from a lead trader About you

To be eligible for this role, you must:

Hold a Bachelor's degree, combined with Fuels trade floor experience Significant experience in blending Ideally have experiences in Trading operations and commercial background Be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, an entrepreneurial mind-set and analytical/IT skills Possess communication and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate and influence business decisions in a multi-cultural team environment Your Benefits
