is a very well-respected veterinary practice known for its high standard of patient care and client care. The team are now looking for a Full or Part Time Veterinary Surgeon to join them. The practice is situated within easy walking distance of Hemel Hempstead town centre. They are close to a lovely park and the town offers a variety of facilities close at hand. The clinic has a high level of modern equipment including an in-house laboratory, video endoscope, tonopen, ECG, digital X-Ray, MyLab 25 Gold E-SAOTE ultrasound scanner, dental X-Ray, separate cat and dog wards, and all rooms are air-conditioned. There are 4.5 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 3 Receptionists, and 2 Office Staff. CPD is encouraged and well supported with an excellent CPD budget and additional staff benefits. The development of specific interests is encouraged and supported including study to certificate level. The responsibilities will involve consultations, vaccinations, medical and surgical workups, and treatment of cases. The rota allows for a good work/life balance. The full-time role will be 40 hours per week and 20 hours per week for the part-time role. The hours worked are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 7:00pm and includes a day off. The Saturdays are worked 1:2 full-time, or 1:4 part-time from 8:00am – 1:00pm. The practice is closed every Sunday and Bank Holiday. The successful candidate would need to have good customer care and effective communication with clients and colleagues in order to deliver a high standard of patient care. MRCVs and general practice experience are required for the roles. Salary is up to £70k pa DOE, plus a welcome bonus up to £5k and a relocation allowance of up to £5k.
