Our client has a busy first opinion clinic near Sidcup who are looking for a Full or Part Time Small Animal Vet to join them.
The clinic is just 20 minutes by train to central London. The client has 3 practices, two for essential care and one vaccination clinic. They have the full range of diagnostics you would expect, Idexx blood machines, Idexx Urinaylsis in house and a Full Dental suite with X-ray. The friendly team is made up of 5 full-time Vets, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and 12 supporting team members. The practice is multilingual and currently has Vets from Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, and Poland. The team like to be inclusive and promote a supportive culture and discuss cases when necessary. They are also very open to supporting CPDs if you want to focus on a particular area of care. They pride themselves on providing an excellent service to clients and their pets and take care of a varied caseload.
The ideal candidate will be confident in general veterinary duties but there will definitely be an opportunity to pursue any specific interests. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, split into a 2-week rota. For example, Week 1- 4 days (8.5 hours per day), Week 2 – 5 days (8.5 hours per day). You will be scheduled to work around 1:4 Saturdays, but this may vary. No out of hours requirement. The client is flexible and is therefore happy to discuss the possibility of part-time shifts, working 2-3 days per week.
The ideal candidate will be a Veterinary Surgeon who has some post-qualification experience. You will be caring, enthusiastic and a team player, who has good communication skills.
Salary is up to £50k DOE.
