Full Stack Software Engineer

required to join a leading Fintech company. You will have responsibility for the ongoing development, support, and maintenance of their market-leading stochastic modelling solutions for the financial services industry. You will be expected to help lead further R&D and development in the burgeoning space of financial modelling tools. Required Knowledge and Experience

Full-stack Programming Skills and Automated Testing : Strong software engineering skills in Typescript, Javascript in backend/frontend software and other relevant languages, Automated Testing (Cypress), Configuration management. Experience with full-stack technologies such as React, Node.js, Mongodb, Redis, Bash and package management. Agile Methodologies : Comfortable working in an agile environment and familiar with Scrum and XP techniques. DevOps : Skills and experience in DevOps, particularly in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) technology (containerised pipelines, git and build systems) with Docker, Bitbucket Pipelines, Github Actions and Jenkins toolsets. Collaboration : Ability to work with business and product stakeholders to understand and deliver requirements. Desirable Knowledge

Monorepo architecture : Knowledge of Monorepo architecture tools (NX) and best practices. Automation / Build systems : Familiarity with deployment and monitoring tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes. Testing : Proficiency with testing frameworks and methodologies, such as end-to-end, systems and integration testing, unit/component testing for frontend and backend. Infrastructure-as-code : Strong development skills in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker for build processes and deployments. Cloud Platforms : Proficiency in AWS for deploying, debugging and monitoring web services. Financial Services : Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
