Langham are representing an exciting opportunity for x2 Full Stack Developers to join a well-established national business in Manchester.

They are looking for two experienced Next.js developers to join their growing technology team as they create engaging new web and mobile products aimed at enhancing the user journey for their customers.

As a Full Stack Developer, you'll develop and maintain scalable web applications, handling both frontend and backend tasks such as designing APIs, working with databases, and integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Role:

Develop and maintain robust web applications to support the company's digital strategy Design and implement backend services and APIs using Next.js Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions Optimize application performance for secure, efficient user experiences Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure reliability and availability Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and best practices Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements

Requirements:

At least 2 years' experience of Next.js and full stack development Good understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript) and modern libraries (e.g. React) Experience with NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB or Firebase Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Familiar with version control systems like Git Experience with Docker and Cloud services would be ideal but not essential Agile / Scrum familiarity would be a plus but not essential

Salary/Benefits:

£50,000 - £55,000 DOE Bonus Scheme (circa 10%) Company car / car allowance of circa 5K 25 days holiday (rising to 28 days after 5 years of service) Private healthcare Life assurance Pension Hybrid working, ideally 2 times a week in Warrington, York or Birmingham, but they are flexible for the right candidate
