Job Summary As a Full Stack Developer – Grade 3, you will have the exciting opportunity to design, create, test, and document both new and updated moderately complex solutions, all while adhering to our established development and security standards. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners and testers within dynamic scrum teams, ensuring we deliver top-notch products efficiently and cost-effectively. Additionally, you’ll engage with Product Owners, business users, testers, and first line support teams in your day-to-day development and support efforts.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with diverse project teams to enhance and develop Logistics UK’s customised systems.

Engage in the entire software lifecycle: design, code, test, and maintain bespoke systems crafted for Logistics UK.

Provide accurate estimates for development efforts.

Play a key role in analysing and resolving defects and issues that arise.

Contribute as an integral member of a small SCRUM team and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies.

Deliver 3rd line support for our in-house applications.

Participate in thorough code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.

Develop systems that align with Logistics UK’s development policy while adhering to security guidelines.

Utilize Azure DevOps as a vital Microsoft lifecycle management tool for tracking bugs, user stories, and tasks.

Implement source control for all code projects using Git within Azure DevOps.

Leverage Microsoft’s Azure DevOps to streamline automated builds and releases.

Take part in scheduled releases outside of regular hours.

Requirements

SFIA Level 3 or above.

Experienced in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining moderate systems.

Passionate about coding and enterprise solutions.

Proficient in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, JavaScript (AngularJS or React), Azure Microservices, and Visual Studio IDE.

Familiar with SQL, Unit Testing (NUnit), Azure DevOps pipelines, source control (Git), and version control strategies.

Strong troubleshooting and time management skills; effective team player under pressure.

Excellent communication skills; open to new ideas and flexible with processes.

Committed to continuous education and improving code quality.

Proficient use of Version control using Azure DevOps and proficient in branching strategies.

Familiar with Agile/Lean development including Scrum and Kanban

Proficient with Azure DevOps.

Familiar with how to develop secure applications by avoiding common pitfalls and an understanding of the OWASP top 10.

Familiar with Azure DevOps and how to create automated builds and releases

Demonstrates an understanding of the dynamics of being a trade association.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related subject is preferred.
