About the company This is an incredible opportunity to work in an early-stages tech startup, helping food manufacturers digitise using our SaaS platform, which is built from scratch internally. We own the platform and control the direction of the Roadmap, which includes very exciting new features like native apps, forecasting and machine learning. As a team, we like to use cutting-edge technologies where possible and provide opportunities for developers to drive change to positively impact the product. Our clients love us for the quality of service and a suite of products that transforms their businesses for the better. Location We are based in central Bristol but work remotely primarily. While we would prefer candidates to be local, we are open to all applicants willing to commute at least 1 day a week to Bristol. About the role The role covers development of new features, support for existing clients, and maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure. As we grow, adding new features and onboarding more clients, the importance and influence of this role will continue to expand, providing opportunities for management of client relationships and/or internal teams. Responsibilities Developing new features and building upon existing features Building, debugging and maintaining existing functionality Assisting with R&D for new products and features Producing feature specifications and staying on top of project documentation Providing support and training to existing clients where necessary Working with designers on UI/UX Testing and deploying releases Developing your own skills and knowledge to meet project needs Useful experience Node.js React/React Native Typescript Serverless / Lambda Version control - Git Jest HTML / CSS / JS / SASS EDI Manufacturing software (ERP) While the above knowledge and skills are preferred, we are open to all applicants with the correct attitude and willingness to learn. About you Experience of talking to clients/customers Plenty of experience working with APIs A keen attention to detail and the ability to plan The ability to produce high-quality work within a project management framework and to deadlines You can work well within a team, contributing and collaborating to our projects and ideas, but still think independently A passion and enthusiasm for all things tech Our values At Mezze, we believe that a variety of backgrounds and experiences help us to be a stronger, more innovative team.
