Our team is committed to ensuring patients receive the best possible care in a friendly and efficient manner. We are currently looking for a professional and compassionate GP Receptionist to join our team. Main Duties of the Job
Greeting patients and visitors warmly and professionally Managing telephone and face-to-face inquiries, booking appointments, and handling cancellations Updating and maintaining patient records using our Emis software system Assisting patients with registration and any necessary paperwork Handling prescription enquiries and other administrative tasks Communicating effectively with medical staff and patients to ensure efficient service delivery Ensuring the reception area is clean, organised, and welcoming Adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies Key Requirements
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail Proficiency in using computer systems and basic software applications Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Compassionate and patient-focused attitude Flexibility to work varied shifts, including some evenings and weekends as needed Qualifications
GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths Experience
Experience of working in primary care Disclosure and Barring Service Check
