Our client has a large, modern, fully equipped and purpose-built practice in South East Kent. They have an experienced, supportive team, who are looking for a Full Time Experienced Small Animal Vet to join them.
The practice has everything in terms of surroundings, being just a stone’s throw from both stunning beaches and beautiful countryside. The towns of Deal and Sandwich are close by with the City of Canterbury just 15 minutes away. The practice also has great access to the city of London also high-speed rail.
The current team is made up of 3 experienced Vets, 6 enthusiastic Nurses, and a lovely support team. They have an encouraging and supportive culture approaching all with a real team ethos. They have regular team meetings and managers operate an open-door policy.
You will work alongside the whole team to provide a high quality service to clients and their pets. You will have both surgical and consultations days each week. The role will include aiding to support and develop the nursing and reception staff to encourage them to reach their full potential carrying out their roles. The full-time Vets work 4 days of 8.00am to 18.00pm and 1:4 Saturdays 8.00am to 12.00pm. No OOH.
The successful candidate will be professional and a good communicator with both staff - to ensure continuity of care, and clients - to update on patient progress, management of cases and reporting results. Support is available for candidates with less experience, salary is therefore dependent on experience. They expect that you to be an avid team player in order to find your place.
Salary is up to £65k pa DOE.
