Albany Creek Tavern is looking for a motivated and experienced
Function and Sales Manager
to join our team and elevate our event offerings. Welcome to Albany Creek Tavern, the local spot where friends, family, and neighbors gather to kick back, catch up, and enjoy good company. With roots that run deep in the community and a fresh new look, we’re all about blending that familiar, friendly vibe with a modern twist. This is a brilliant opportunity to become a Function & Sales Manager at the Albany Creek Tavern. What you’ll do: Assist with the design, costing and organising of function packages Establish and maintain a customer database Make sales calls, follow-up and secure sales in a timely manner Coordinate function sales initiatives (if applicable) Prepare quotes on a timely basis i.e. within 24 hours Liaise with suppliers and contractors to the functions business Update and/or maintain promotional materials including online mediums What you’ll need: Display a genuine passion and flair for the industry, love what you do and be a team player with a hands-on attitude Prior experience in functions sales leadership with an ability to develop people Proven ability to develop strategic plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets and deliver projects on time Exceptional Stakeholder Management skills with the ability to manage inbound enquiries for functions on a multi-site basis and maintain a comprehensive client database using a Function Management System Flexible availability The benefits are good too!
