You will play a crucial role in servicing the needs of private equity, real estate clients, and associated SPVs, liaising with finance teams, third parties, and external advisors to ensure all issues are resolved and deadlines are met. You will also be involved in the take-on and setup of new clients, handling various interesting and varied ad hoc projects. They invest heavily in the professional development of their employees, offering career progression opportunities, professional qualifications, and intensive training. What will the Fund Accountant Role involve?

Act as the primary contact for clients, managing relationships, holding regular in-person meetings, and ensuring all regulatory and statutory reporting deadlines and filings are met; Oversee and prepare consolidated financial statements and statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS or UK GAAP, including monthly/quarterly NAVs; Plan deadlines and work allocations, monitor junior team members' work, and coach and develop staff, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures; Organise the take-on and setup of new clients, lead year-end audits, and implement necessary policies, procedures, and checklists; Provide accounting support, including bank debt covenant reporting, investor tax, CIS, VAT reporting, and compile and analyse financial information underlying financial statements. Suitable Candidate for the Fund Accountant Vacancy:

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified; Strong technical accounting skills; Comprehensive understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS and experience preparing statutory financial statements; Strong Excel knowledge; Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of situations; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
