Fundraising and Communications Manager, c£40 – £45k, Oxford or home based Wonderful opportunity exists at this Oxfordshire based Christian charity for an experienced Fundraising and Communication Manager who is also a Practicing Christian with a mature faith to lead their Fundraising team driving their strategy towards their fundraising goals. Reporting to the Global Director, the successful candidate will lead on the delivery of their fundraising strategy from a position of strength and with a strong pipeline of income currently in place and will build and develop the team and new fundraising channels and supporters as well as through existing donors. Leading a team of 4 including a Trust fundraiser, media producer, copywriter and administrator you will be developing income streams that produce multiyear growth by managing the Major Donor programme, overseeing individual giving, supporter volunteers, events and providing support and guidance on Trusts and Foundations fundraising efforts by the Trusts Fundraiser. The charity has an excellent reputation for supporter engagement with exceptional retention rates and you will be able to reinforce the charities position in this, delighting supporters with the warmth, urgency and originality of our communications. You will also take responsibility for the supporter communication strategy, acting as Brand Champion and ensuring clear messaging as you grow and convert brand engagement. This includes managing the team copywriter to produce compelling and exciting emailing and web content and ensuring that the digital strategy and presence is relevant. You will also provide support to the Director and COO as a member of the senior leadership team. In addition you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong Christian Faith as it is an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder will be a practicing Christian. The role can be based in the Oxfordshire offices full time, or can be home based but the latter will require you to be at least 2-3 days a fortnight on site in the main offices. Sound interesting?
