We are an independent, registered charity providing front line support to young people and people experiencing homelessness to open pathways out of poverty and homelessness - breaking the cycle of disadvantage. Our focus is on respect, client-centred care, and harm prevention so people can lead longer lives, have improved health, meaningful employment, and a greater sense of belonging, safety, and security through our holistic model of care.

A bit about the role
Our Fundraising and Events Coordinator is a new exciting role, you'll be at the heart of our fundraising efforts, helping us raise essential funds while building lasting connections within our community. From developing innovative strategies to coordinating fun, mission-driven events, you’ll be making a BIG impact in line with Youth Projects’ values. You’ll collaborate with our awesome Head of Marketing and Communications to develop and execute fundraising campaigns, support our Youth Advisory Groups, and manage donations like a pro!
What you’ll do :
Support the development and implementation of strategies to boost donations (monetary and material aid) and partnerships
Plan and coordinate exciting events for our staff, partners and clients that support our cause
Manage key relationships with corporate and community partners
Work closely with our creative team to bring campaigns to life
Oversee donation logistics, making sure everything runs smoothly
Help us to tell the story of Youth Projects impact and successes to acquire new and retain existing donations partners

Key Requirements :
Proven experience in planning, executing, and managing successful fundraising campaigns and donation drives.
Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and grow relationships with community and corporate partners.
Strong background in organising and managing events, including resource allocation and logistics.
Ability to develop, implement, and optimise processes related to fundraising, donations, and partnerships.
Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to corporate and community audiences.
