Location : Wales, with either home working and/or office based (office location is Cardiff)
Hours : 21 hours per week
Salary : £16,200 (pro rata of £27,000), with future progression to £19,200 (pro rata of £32,000)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and results-driven Fundraising & Grants Officer to join our Income Generation team to raise funds across all fundraising activities, focusing on charitable funds, foundations, Welsh Government grants, and corporate partnerships.
You will have an appreciation of the work of NYAS and the challenges faced by care experienced children and young people whom NYAS supports, with a view to helping us change young lives.
You will work to expand NYAS’s funding base to secure grants in Wales to support existing projects and develop new projects to help more young people. You will also identify new corporate partners while nurturing existing relationships and supporting fundraising across NYAS.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in partnership with colleagues internally and externally to write funding applications that align with our strategic plan and campaigns strategy, meeting the needs of the children, young people, and families we serve.
Research and write excellent funding applications to a range of funders, including Welsh Government, charitable trusts, foundations, and community funds, tailored to the funding criteria to motivate funders to offer grants.
Develop compelling cases for support that package projects and their associated costs into suitable proposals for grant funding.
Co-ordinate/contribute to the completion of outcome monitoring and reporting to grant and project funders.

You will have experience in a similar role and share our passion for helping more young care-experienced people. You will possess great relationship-building skills and the ability to write successful grant applications.
