About Us: At St Barnabas, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support including end of life care to more than 12,000 patients and their families each year throughout Lincolnshire affected by a life-limiting or terminal illness. Our hospice is known for its compassionate approach and dedication to enhancing quality of life. Our aim is to enable people to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks, months or even years remain. Role Overview: Both Fundraising Officer roles will play a crucial role working with the Fundraising Team Lead, other Fundraising Officers and Head of Fundraising and Lottery to develop and execute Fundraising activities that will significantly boost our income generation. One role will focus on community fundraising and Hospice led events, the second will again focus on Hospice led events along with our challenge portfolio, both playing a vital role in advancing our mission of compassionate care to the people of Lincolnshire. Key Responsibilities Fundraising Officer – Community & Events Be the main point of contact for supporter led fundraising activities in your area (East Lindsey & Coastal) Develop innovative fundraising initiatives, actively researching trends in the charity sector to refresh and enhance our portfolio of activities. Research, organise, develop and deliver existing and new Hospice led events, including mass participation Provide effective and high-quality Supporter Stewardship to ensure those fundraising for us have the best possible experience and help them achieve success Ensure our fundraising efforts align with the hospice’s vision, values, and goals. Fundraising Officer - Events & Challenge Be the main point of contact to research, organise, develop and deliver existing and new Hospice led events, including mass participation and our Challenges portfolio. Develop innovative fundraising initiatives, actively researching trends in the charity sector to refresh and enhance our portfolio of activities. Provide effective and high-quality Supporter Stewardship to ensure those fundraising for us have the best possible experience and help them achieve success Ensure our fundraising efforts align with the hospice’s vision, values, and goals. About You We are looking for motivated, innovative, passionate individuals with a proven track record in community fundraising, event planning, and challenge events. Applications are welcome from candidates with GCSEs at grade 5 or above in English and Maths. Ideally you will have: A strong background in community led fundraising and events planning Experience in delivering mass participation events with measurable success. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire supporters, colleagues, and external stakeholders. A proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the hospice and the fundraising landscape. Strong IT/digital skills Passion for our mission and values Why Join Us?
