Our client, an exceptional international City law firm is seeking a talented Funds Regulatory Solicitor to join their renowned Financial Regulation practice initially for 10-weeks, possibly longer. The role has arisen to cover parental leave, and there is a gap in permanent recruitment on the team. This role can be on a full-time, or part-time basis. This role will focus on advising fund managers on regulatory compliance and the structuring and marketing of private funds across the UK and Europe. About Our Client:

Offers the opportunity to work on cross-border matters and gain experience at the intersection of UK and EU regulatory regimes. The Role:

Joining the highly regarded Financial Regulation practice, your responsibilities will include: Advising on fund structuring and authorisation, including compliance with the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), marketing passports, cross-border requirements, and flagship funds such as ELTIF and UCI Part II funds. Providing guidance on regulatory compliance, including FCA rules, AIFMD, EMIR, MiFID II, MiFIR, SFDR, and ESMA regulations, as well as SEC requirements. Ideal Candidate:

A qualified solicitor in England & Wales, Ireland, or Luxembourg with strong experience in financial regulation, particularly in the funds sector. Expertise in UK and EU regulatory frameworks such as AIFMD, FCA rules, and MiFID II. A proactive self-starter with excellent drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in advising high-profile fund managers and handling cross-border matters is highly desirable. Why Apply?
