Major Recruitment is looking for a

Furniture Assembler

to work for our client based in Dewsbury. As a Furniture Assembler, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks across a number of different departments within the company. You will be involved with tasks such as, but not limited to, basic assembly of furniture items including retail and office furniture, as well as more complicated assemblies of shopfittings and solid timber items. Other responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation and sanding of components for spray painting. Packaging and wrapping products for dispatch when required. Using basic hand tools such as drills, pin guns, and trimmers. Working with machinery such as edge banders, saws, and pillar drills, dependent on experience and training. When packaging and wrapping products, it is essential to check the goods are free from defects, and if in any doubt, you should alert a manager or team leader. Items should be wrapped safely for transport, and if the company has provided a packaging specification, this must be adhered to. Items should leave in a clean and presentable state as their next destination will be with the client. Working hours:

8-5 Mon-Thurs (1 Hour Break total) & 8-4 on Fridays (45 mins break)
