A great opportunity to join an Investment Bank in London as an NDF Trader covering Asia and LATAM Markets. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic NDF (Non-Deliverable Forward) Trader with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in LATAM and Asia markets to join our growing team in London. As a crucial part of our trading desk, you will be responsible for executing and managing NDF trades, maintaining and developing client relationships, and ensuring optimal trading strategies in emerging markets. Key Responsibilities:

Trading and Execution:

Execute NDF trades across LATAM and Asian markets, ensuring accuracy, speed, and efficiency. Manage trading positions and monitor market trends to capitalize on opportunities. Ensure compliance with internal risk management policies and external regulatory requirements.

Market Analysis:

Conduct in-depth analysis of market conditions, including economic, political, and financial factors affecting LATAM and Asia. Provide insights and recommendations to senior traders and management based on market analysis. Develop and maintain market models to forecast currency movements and identify trading opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with market updates, trading strategies, and customized solutions. Work closely with sales teams to understand client needs and provide tailored NDF products. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients, addressing any queries or issues promptly. Monitor and manage the risk associated with NDF positions, ensuring adherence to the bank’s risk appetite. Collaborate with risk management and compliance teams to ensure all trades meet regulatory and internal standards. Continuously review and adjust strategies to mitigate potential risks.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with colleagues across trading, sales, research, and risk management to ensure seamless execution of trades. Contribute to team discussions on market developments and trading strategies. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior traders as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience:

2 to 5 years of experience in NDF trading with a focus on LATAM and Asia markets. Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus. Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of NDF products and market mechanics. Proficiency in trading platforms and tools such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and Excel/VBA. Solid quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Personal Attributes:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
