FX Trader – Mandarin Speaking

London Trading Centre is an extension of Head Office’s Global Markets Department trading platform that provides clients with greater coverage in foreign exchange, derivatives, commodities, and fixed income trading. As a FX Trader - Mandarin Speaking, you will be providing pricing, market making, and trading to Bank of China branches, overseas institutions, and the Sales Desk under the name of Bank of China Head Office and Bank of China London. This is a full-time permanent position. Key Responsibilities Lead the monitoring and control of the Bank’s internal channel systems for FX business, obtaining client flows for FX business through these platforms. Contribute to the positive income profile of the business. Engage with Bank of China’s network to improve client relationships by providing trading and related services. Liaise with relevant stakeholders internally or externally to resolve any problems related to FX trading of London Trading Centre. Monitor technological, regulatory, and other developments to ensure the Bank’s execution process remains highly valued-added, compliant, and representative of best industry practices. Review and complete all relevant administrative documentation such as end of day/month business reports, and liaise with various supporting functions as required. Cover other dealers as required. Support other trading desks as required. Requirements Degree educated in Finance, Banking, or other equivalent fields. Relevant professional qualification as required. Experience in trading FX products, pricing corporate and FI flows, and managing market risk. Experience in managing E-trading platforms as a market maker. Knowledge of FX products including Spot, Swap, Outright, NDF, Options. Knowledge of G10 economy basics and forecasts. Knowledge of portfolio and risk management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team player. Excellent English & Mandarin communication skills.
